I got a tweet from Young Cyth’s manager saying that I needed to hear this hot mixtape. Since I knew his manager, I actually decided to give it a listen.
Young Cyth is a rapper out of Philly who also goes by the aliases Young Knowledge or Fish. Let’s listen to the 20-year-old’s debut mixtape.
With an intro that’s reminiscent of Meek Mill’s Dreams and Nightmares Intro, Young Cyth gets right into his tape by spitting hard rhymes over a dope beat. Definitely a perfect track to hook in an audience.
Man in the Mirror is sampled from Drake and The Weeknd’s The Ride, but Cyth murders this beat as he takes you on a trip throughout his life. This track is extremely powerful as he declares he’ll do better, try harder and be a good husband and father. Beautiful track. Beautiful lyrics.
Schutes & Ladders has an old school feel with the horns coming in from the start. Best cruising song on the tape. I Know Brasco and Maseratti Ran are featured on this track blending together their flows to create an incredibly relaxing track.
This raspy voiced rapper should definitely be in you music player if you’re a fan of the Meek Mill, MGK, French Montana style of hypeness. Excellent tape.

B.Aull is back with his debut mixtape and I must say that I’m excited to hear it. You may remember the New England rapper from an earlier write-up as he now puts his four months of work into 10 original tracks as well as a remix.
B.Aull a.k.a. AullThat starts off this with excellent display of his abilities to deliver different rhymes schemes. In “One Shot” instantly put me in the mind frame of Nas’ “One Mic.” Give Aull a shot.
“Flowin’ Is A Habit” is that punchline song that gets the people going. This one is a sure-fire crowd pleaser guaranteed to get everyone hype.
“Living Good” immediately caught my ear as its production sounds similar to Sara Bareilles’ “Love Song.” This feel good song gives insight into B.Aull’s past and what makes him the person he is today. This one has a bit of a Mac Miller style to it. Loved it!
Overall, you won’t regret downloading this debut. Get it ASAP!

I told you Alex Theesfield, the feature of the first Reid Write-up, would be featured heavily on this site and he is the first artist featured twice. Theesfield – who now goes by Steezefield – is back with his first track under his new name.
“I’m in love with girls who don’t know who the fuck I am.” What a way for Steezefield to start off his revamped career. This tracks gives a feeling that he is thinking aloud. In less then 2 and a half minutes Steeze takes you on a journey through his mind and I must say that I enjoyed it. We can’t wait for more from Steezefield. It’s “Time Again.”
Listen to “Time Again” below.
